1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AniAlert ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AniAlert is an anime tracking and notification service. We monitor anime databases for new episodes, season announcements, and news, then notify you via your chosen channels (email, Discord, Telegram, or browser push).

Anime data is sourced from AniList. We are not affiliated with any anime studio, streaming platform, or AniList itself.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person — automated or bulk account creation is not permitted.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Free plan: Track up to 5 anime with email notifications. No payment required. No time limit.

Pro plan ($5/year): Unlimited anime tracking, all notification channels, season and news alerts. Billed annually. You may cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your billing period.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied with the Pro plan, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. To request a refund, email support@anialert.app.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
• Abuse the API or notification systems
• Share account credentials with others
• Circumvent usage limits on the Free plan

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. Notification delivery depends on third-party services (email providers, Discord, Telegram).

8. Limitation of Liability

AniAlert is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed notifications, incorrect data, or any damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
