1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in via Google or Discord, we receive your name and email from those providers.

Usage data: We store the anime you choose to track, your notification preferences, and your subscription status. We do not track your browsing behavior or viewing habits beyond what you explicitly add to your watchlist.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe may collect information as described in their privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the AniAlert service
• To send you episode alerts and notifications you opted into
• To process your payments via Stripe
• To communicate service updates (e.g., downtime, new features)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics beyond basic service operation.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Supabase — for database hosting and authentication
• Resend — for sending email notifications
• Vercel — for application hosting

These providers only process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data in a portable format
